Effects of Television on the Developing Brain
A study reveals that watching television as a toddler may cause Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in later years. In the research study of over two thousand kids, it has been an observation that for each hour of watching television between the ages of one year to two years, kids had more or less ten percent greater likelihood of having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) troubles that can come under observation, as the kid reaches seven years of age. A kid younger than the age of twelve months watching television every day for three hours had almost thirty percent more possibility of getting Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) issues in school (Hallowell Jensen, 2010).
In conclusion, the paper has discussed effects of television on the developing brain in a brief manner, and it is anticipation that such concise discussion will be very effective in creating a fundamental basis for this issue.
