The three categories of learning objectives in this case are all cognitive in nature. This is definitely not well rounded as there are no other types of objective that will fall under the classification of affective or psychomotor. All of the three objectives that were mentioned is all about the ability of the student to create a test that will be appropriate for their class as well as gauge accurately the reliability of the test scores that are generated with the test.

The two categories are missing from this list of objectives. If there is one other objective that I will add to the list, it would be in the category of affective. The objective is to make the student determine the intellect level of his class and be able to design an appropriate test for them. This can be considered as important since the test that a teacher can create is sometimes inappropriate to the intelligence level of the students. If the test is too hard, only the intelligent students will survive. If the test is too easy, the below average students wont be challenged in a way. It does not mean that the learning level has to be compromised but rather the teacher can just determine an acceptable level to determine those students who exerted some efforts at least.

If another objective can be added, it would be great to insert something that will fall under the psychomotor category. Any physical skill would come in handy for the teachers since it would mean a well rounded education for the students that they handle. For example, if a teacher knows a dance, traditional or not, the will be able to induce fitness for their students as well as enhance creativity. There are other benefits from gaining this type of skill too like getting the students to interact with the teacher and other students in a positive way. It can become the reason for more positive interaction with students and teachers in the school.

If there is a skill in any sport, it would also help the teacher encourage the students to get into something that will physically benefit them. The kind of attraction that a popular sport like basketball can generate from the young is also a good way to steer them off other vices that teens are usually prone to getting themselves into. All in all, the holistic approach of a teacher in dealing with their students is going to help a lot in developing them as well educated citizens of the country.

The learning objectives are reasonably concentrated on the cognitive category but the reason why we have to include the other categories is to ensure that there is no area left behind. It is hardly reasonable to expect the students to only need the theoretical ideas and knowledge they can get from school to deal with life. Even if there are no direct connection to skills, the varied and multi faceted approach to teaching students will capture their interest and enable them to be healthy and happy personalities with their own unique interests. The teaching objectives not only have to consider the effectiveness of the test given from lessons discussed in the class but also the end result on the psyche of the students they are handling. The teachers have the responsibility to be able to inculcate valuable lessons into their students. This means that they have to be able to capture the attention of their students no matter what method was used. Naturally, it would be easier to deal with the inherent interest of students for sports and the like. It would then be easier to insert other cognitive learning objectives if the students are engaged in their interests.
